Bigpond news server.

I am trying to connect to the news server of my ISP.

news-server.bigpond.net.au

Using the same procedures I have connected here.

when I try to ping this address the a ip is resolved to 61.9.191.5

tracert does not achieve anything on my computer. Regardles of which address
I tracert I get two responses before a list of time outs.

Any ideas.

Try using this address -:

news.bigpond.com

Mind you, it is a shit server, especially for binaries; its fills are never
more than about 20%.
