Has anyone else had a problem getting active-news, which is being billed
through Worldpay, to stop billing their credit card? I have been trying
since June to get this stopped, without any success.
The only way I have found to contact Active-News is via email, which they do
not respond to. I cannot log into Worldpay as per the instructions on the
Active-News website, since Active-News never gave me an ID and password to
log into Worldpay.
I have sent several emails to both Active-News and Worldpay; Worldpay
responded that they would need my log-in ID, and if I didn't have to it, I
would have to call Worldpay. Active-News simply does not respond at all. I
called Worldpay's number only to get a recorded messages to either sign into
Worldpay to cancel my account, which I cannot do, since Active-news never
gave me any way to sign into Worldpay, or to call the store where the
purchase was made, which I cannot do, since I have no phone number to call,
and Active-news simply will not respond to any email I have sent to them.
I have now sent an email to both Worldpay and my credit card company and
hope that this will get this settled.
